Morro do Pai Inácio/ Pai Inácio Hill - Lençóis
Oi ,
A gente
A água desse rio é
A gente teve a oportunidade

Hello,
Today we woke up 6am. We got really tired. After breakfast we took the bus to go to a really famous hill here in Lençóis. We were really happy because the hiking up the hill was in the morning so it wasn't too hot, but it was really hard going up the hill. It was Worth it though because the view from up there was wonderful. We took lots of pictures with our flags and played many games. We saw other Exchange students there but unfortunately didn't have time to meet them. We got really tired on our way down. We went downtown Lençóis to have lunch and there we met another group of exchange students. After lunch we walked again to another river. In this river there was a natural slide, it was really fun. The water that comes down this river is dark because of the plants, just like Coca-Cola!
After going on the natural slide and swim more we went downtown Lençóis again to see a Brazilian music performance, known as percussion along with another group of exchange students. We danced and tried to play the drums. It was really fun but afterwards we were really tired because of all the walking we did, so we went to the hotel with the other exchange students and had dinner. We had the opportunity to exchange pins and talk a lot.
It was a really long, but super fun, day!

Fazenda da Pratinha e Gruta Lapa Doce/ Pratinha Farm and Lapa Doce Cave
Oi lindos,
No zipline
Hello beautiful, how are you?
It's so good here. Today the day was long but wonderful. We went to Pratinha farm and Lapa Doce cave. At Pratinha Farm there where many things to do, we went zip lining and snorkeling. Zip lining was really cool and high up. Every exchange student went down the 12 meters with they country's flag and really liked. Snorkeling was really really cool. We were about 30 minutes away from a cave that was really dark and required a lantern so we could see. It was a bit scary, but really exiting too. The water on the river was really clear. I've never seen such a clear and blue water.
After that we went by bus to Lapa Doce cave. When we got there we were put into groups of ten people in order to walk to the cave and see the stalagmites and stalactites inside. It seemed like another world, like Mars. And it was also really dark, without the flashlights you can't see anything.
After the cave we walked back to the bus and everyone was really tired. On our way back to Lençóis everyone sung Brazilian songs like "Ai se eu te pego" and "Show das Poderosas".
After dinner we had our third meeting and saw a really cool "capoeira" presentation with samba circles. We really liked it and some people even learnt a little bit of capoeira.

Lençóis
Oi gente!
dentro do ônibus.
filme.
As 14 Horas
30 minutos chegamos finalmente em Lençóis.
A gente
chegaram atrasadas) ;)
Depois
fizemos o check in no hotel (aliás, muito
bonito )
chinelo dentro do rio.
As 9 horas
tínhamos nossa segunda reunião pra falar sobre o dia seguinte e fizemos a eleição
do *jegue porreta*.
O jegue
Agora vamos
dormir por que já estamos atrasadas… Não podemos nos atrasar!
Beijos
Eline e
Cecile
Hi everyone!
Today was a really long, but really cool day!
It started at 6am and by 7am we already were inside the bus. During that time we had the opportunity to sleep, talk to each other and watch a movie.
At 02:40pm we finally arrived in Lençóis. We had 45 minutes to have lunch and for some people that wasn’t enough time (they arrived late) ;)
After that we checked in in the hotel (really pretty, by the way).
When all of our bags was inside the rooms we begun a really cool tour on the waterfalls. There many people feel on the water and Chloe (a girl from the USA) lost her flip-flops inside the river.
It was a really nice tour: we swam, took lots of pictures, laughed and had the opportunity of getting to know each other better;
We got in the hotel everyone when to the pool and then we had a delicious dinner. At 9pm we had our second meeting to talk about the next day and elect the “jegue porreta”.
“Jegue Porreta” today was a boy from Germany called Lukas, and he was chosen because he asked Alexis (a boy form France): - Why are you fluent in French?
Today the curfew was at 11pm, but before that everyone was together talking, playing poker, billiard and “totó” (table soccer).
Now we’re going to sleep because we’re already late… We can’t be late!!!
Kisses

Dia 2 - À caminho da Bahia /Day 2 - On the road to Bahia
Olá
Pessoal, Tudo bem ?
Hoje o dia
Saímos do
a maravilhosa Bahia.
Paramos
linda aventura.
Hello everyone, how are you?
Today it was a bit tiring because we stayed on the road for about 14 hours, but it was good because we had the opportunity to become friends and get even more united in this trip.
We left the hotel in Belo Horizonte at 07:30am towards our first stop, wonderful Bahia.
We stopped for lunch at noon and Abel used his "jegue porreta" powers to send everyone to the restaurant floor. It really super fun!
We watched two movies about overcoming and companionship. We arrived in Vitória da Conquista to rest around 23pm and we were all super tired but extremely exited to be in this beautiful adventure together.

Dia 1 - Belo Horizonte/ Day 1 - Belo Horizonte
Quinta Feira,
e nossa viagem já tem início positivo.
Conhecemos
uns aos outros, trocamos experiências e compartilhamos memorias. Já havia
intercambistas chegando as 05 horas e 40 minutos da manhâ, pra nossa alegria

We then went back to the hotel, where we had "forró" and "funk" classes and got to find out some people natural dance talent, like Victoria who seemed really Brazilian with her dance moves.
After that we had our first meeting, talked about our day and elected the first "jegue porreta", Abel, because the hotel bench broke with him sitting on it and everyone, including himself, laughed.
