Praia do Forte - Salvador

Oi,

Hoje nos acordamos às 5:30 de manhã, e saímos do hotel às 6:30, em direção à Praia do Forte. Depois do ônibus, nós ficamos na Praia do Forte durante 4 horas. E durante o tempo ali, nos visitamos o projeto Tamar. Depois de almoçar e fazer compras, nós saímos para Salvador, que estava a 1 hora mais ou menos de ônibus. Depois de 1 hora, chegamos no hotel em Salvador na Bahia, relaxamos por 2 horas e levamos nossas roupas sujas para lavar. Mais tarde nos saímos para jantar em um restaurante de comida típica nordestina. O jantar foi bom! Depois do jantar nos retornamos ao hotel para fazer o “Talent Show” (Show de Talentos). O talent show estava muito engraçado e legal. Todos nós apresentamos um música ou dança ou coisa típica de nossos países. Depois disso, nos relaxamos mais e respeitamos o curfew de 2:30. Hi,

 

Today we woke up at 05:30 in the morning and left the hotel at 06:30, headed to Forte Beach. After getting out of the bus we stayed at the beach for 4 hours. During this time there we visited the Tamar Project. After lunch and shopping we left to go to Salvador, that was about an hour and a half away. After an hour on got in the hotel in Salvador, Bahia, got to relax for a couple of hours and then took our clothes to be washed. Later we went out to have dinner in a restaurant with local northern food. Dinner was good! After that we got back to the hotel to have our Talent Show. The Talent Show was really funny and cool! We all did a presentation of a local song or dance from our country. After that we relaxed a bit and respected the 02:30am curfew. Good night, thank you.

Natal - Estancia

Oi galera!

Hoje foi desses dias nos quais ficamos o dia todo no ônibus. Saímos 6:30 do hotel e dormimos a manhã toda até que acordamos em Recife para o almoço. O almoço foi ótimo, tinha rodizio de carne e muitas outras comidas que estavam maravilhosas, muita salada e SUSHI!!!

Após do almoço continuamos a nossa viagem e seguimos dormindo. Depois de umas duas horas já estávamos todos acordados e decidimos assitir um filme. Tínhamos que decidir se iríamos assistir um filme de horror ou comedia e escolhemos horror. Amanda, a nossa monitora, escolheu o filme ¨A sétima alma¨ um filme péssimo!!! A gente estava morrendo de rir de como o filme era ruim. Logo depois disso paramos para o jantar na estrada, voltamos para o ônibus e dormimos de novo para acordar em Estancia, fazer um check in rápido no nosso hotel e descansar para amanhã sair cedo novamente para visitar o projeto Tamar e finalmente chegar em Salvador.

Hi everyone!

 

Today was one of those days we stay on the bus the whole time. We left the hotel at 06:30am and slept the entire morning until we woke up in Recife to have lunch. Lunch as great, there was an all-you-can-eat meat rotation service and many other foods that were delicious. A lot of salad and SUSHI!!!

 

After lunch we continued our trip and slept again. After about two hours everyone had woken up already so we decided to watch a movie. We had to choose between a comedy and a horror one and we chose horror. Amanda, our monitor, chose the movie My Soul to Take, a horrible movie!!! We were dying of laughter at how bad the movie was. Right after that we stopped to have dinner on the road, got back on the bus and slept again to wake up in Estancia, check in quickly and get some rest to leave early in the morning again, in order to visit Tamar Project and finally arrive in Salvador.

Natal Buggy ride!!!

Oi galera!!!

Hoje de manhã, a gente foi pro passeio de buggy, quatro pessoas foram de buggy desde o hotel. O passeio foi demais! Paramos para tirar fotos das lindas paisagens. As pessoas que queriam, poderiam pedir ¨emoção¨ para o motorista, e assim o passeio ficar mais rápido e louco. A gente chegou perto da praia pra fazer sandboard. Tudo mundo tentou fazer isso, algumas pessoas fizeram melhor do que as outras. Depois, a gente foi pra praia pra almoçar e nadar. As ondas estavam bem fortes e grandes e tudo mundo gostou. Depois descansou um pouco no sol e mais tarde a gente voltou pro hotel. Nós encontramos o grupo do Janeiro 2 no hotel antes do jantar e fomos pro mesmo lugar de todos os dias com tudo mundo. Hoje temos que dormir cedo por que precisamos acordar de madrugada para ir embora de Natal. Natal foi ótimo!!! Agora a galera está bem animada para ir pra Salvador.

Hi everyone,

Today we went to a buggy ride, and four people took the buggy from the hotel. The ride was awesome! We stopped to take pictures of the wonderful views. The ones who wanted could ask the driver to add “emotion” to it, so the ride got faster and crazier. We got near the beach to sandboard and some people did it better than other. Then we went to the beach to have lunch and swim. The waves were really strong and everyone liked it. After we got some rest on the sun, we got back to the hotel. We met the the January 2 group before dinner. We went to the same place with everyone. Today we have to sleep early because we need to wake up in the early hours of the day to leave Natal. Natal was great!! Now we are really excited to go to Salvador.

Natal

Hoje o dia foi ótimo, a gente fez coisas de mais, ao começo eu achei que o día ía ser chato porque só íamos ficar na praia, mais não foi assim não, a primeira coisa que a gente fez foi visitar o maior cajueiro do mundo, Nossa Senhora é grande demais. Depois a gente visito um mercado de artesanatos que também foi legal porque tinha muitas coisas pra ver e também tinha artesanatos mexicanos, coisa que achei legal de mais.

Depois disso a gente foi pra uma praia linda de mais, que eu curti muito, nos fizemos bodysurfing na praia, jogamos futebol, voleibol e eu e meus amigos jogamos capoeira também. Depois disso a gente foi comer no melhor restaurante da toda viagem. Aqui em Natal as pessoas comem muito camarão então a gente comeu camarão, foi muito gostoso e barato.

Deixaram a melhor coisa pra final, depois da praia a gente voltou pro hotel e tomamos banho porque a gente ía ter uma festa a noite. Primeiro fomos jantar no um restaurante de comida chinesa que também era muito gostoso e depois nos fomos pra outro hotel pra fazer a festinha, a festinha começou boa mais depois foi incrível todo mundo curtiu de mais a festa porque chegamos e começamos dançar e tudo normal mais depois começou chover e eu achei que a festinha ía acabar, mais não a festa foi mais legal ainda, tudo foi muito legal, colocamos músicas do todo mundo e quase ao final a gente pulo na piscina e virou uma pool party, falaram que a festa estava acabada mais não a gente continuo com a festa no ônibus até chegar ao hotel, sem dúvida alguma o dia de hoje foi legal de mais e acho que o resto da viagem vai ser mais legal ainda, obrigado Terra Brasil. Today it was great! We did so many things! In the beginning I thought the day was going to be boring because we were going to stay on the beach, but it wasn’t like that! First we went to visit the biggest cashew three in the world, that holy Lord, is really big! After that we went to visit a handicrafts market that was also cool because there was many things to see and there also had Mexican handicrafts, what I thought it was really cool!

After that we went to a marvelous beach, that I really enjoyed, where we did bodysurfing, played soccer, volleyball and me and my friends played “capoeira” too. Then we went out to eat in the best restaurant in the whole trip. Here in Natal people eat a lot of shrimp so we ate shrimp and it was really tasty and cheap.

They left the best to the end. After the beach we went back to the hotel, took showers and got ready because we were going to a party at night. First we had dinner in a Chinese restaurant, where the food was really good too, and then we went to another hotel to have our party. It started nice, but then it got incredible because we got there and started to dance and all, but it started raining and I thought the party was going to end, but no. The party got even better, we put on songs from all over the world and almost at the end we jumped in the pool and turned into a pool party. They said the party was over but we kept partying on the bus until we got in the hotel. Without a doubt, today was really cool and I think the rest of the trip will be even better. Hugs.

Maceió - Natal

Hoje foi mais um dia no ônibus, porém foi bom porque tinha tempo pra dormir e descansar.  A gente saiu de Maceió ás 8 horas de manhã e começou nosso percurso de 10 horas para Natal. Antes da nosso única parada todo mundo dormiu. A parada foi meio-dia para almoçar. As próximas 6 horas no ônibus usamos o nosso songbook que tem várias músicas brasileiras e assistimos um filme. A galera chegou aqui em Natal ás 6 horas de tarde e fizemos o check-in no Monza Palace Hotel. Depois o Fred, dono do Terra Brasil também chegou em Natal, ele vai ficar com a gente esses três dias que vamos passar em Natal. Tivemos tempo para relaxar antes do jantar e algumas pessoas ficaram na piscina e o resto nos quartos. A gente caminhou para o restaurante chinês bem perto do hotel. A comida estava maravilhosa mesmo! Depois tinha o reunião do dia e o Justin Bieber (Florian da Alemanha) ganhou o jegue porreta por que ele tentou contar uma história em português e não conseguiu. Hoje o curfew é até 2 horas de manhã! Boa noite.

Today was another one that we spent on the bus, but it was good because we had the chance to sleep and get some rest. We left Maceió at 8am and started our 10-hour road trip to Natal. Before our only stop everyone slept. We stopped at noon to have lunch. The next 6 hours on the bus we used our song book, that have a lot of Brazilian songs, and watched a movie. We got in Natal at 6pm and cheked in on Monza Palace Hotel. Then Fred, Terra Brasil's owner, got in Natal too. He will stay with us here in Natal this next three days. We had time to relax before dinner and some people went to the pool while others stayed in their rooms. We walked to a Chinese Restaurant nearby and the food was really, really good! After the metting of the day, Justin Bieber (Florian from Germany) won "jegue porreta" because he tried to tell a stor in portuguese but didn't work out. Today curfew is until 2am. Good night!

Praia do Gunga / Gunga Beach

Oi

Hoje foi um dia muito tranquilo, as nove da manhã nós saímos do hotel para a Praia do Gunga. Fomos primeiro de ônibus e depois de barco. Um passeio de 20 minutos só, onde a gente viu muitos coqueiros. Chegamos lá mais ou menos as dez e meia, e tivemos tempo livre até as duas e meia. A gente curtiu a praia, Alexis ficou preso enterrado na areia na areia, comemos todos juntos. A comida demorou demais, mas estava muito boa e as garotas estava muito bonitas. As duas e meia a gente volto para o barco, alguns de nós pilotaram o barco e de noite os coordenadores fizeram uma piada com a gente, com isso dizendo que iam voltar para casa por isso.  Chegando ao hotel, tivemos ainda mais tempo livre e as sete quarenta e cinco começo nossa reunião. Falamos da nossa viagem pra Natal de amanhã e nossos achados e perdidos. Nos achados e perdidos Martin pagou uma dança e dez reais por um óculos de mulher. Abel pagou trinta reais por uma garrafa e depois foram vendidas duas por vinte e um reais e ele fico bravo demais. Nosso jogue porreta foi a Ivone, ela escovou os dentes com hipogloss e depois e não conseguia tirá-las, e ela precisou escovar os dentes com sabonete, nosso melhor jogue porreta até agora. O jantar foi o mesmo de ontem.  Agora nosso curfew é até a uma e meia, porque cumprimos sempre com o horário marcado. O Ron ficou muito bravo por isso hahahaha. Ë uma piada, ele esta amando a gente.

Today was a really nice day. At 9am we left the hotel to go to Gunga Beach. We went first by bus, and then we took a boat. It was a 20 minutes trip only where we saw many coconut trees. We got there at about 10:30am e had free time until 2:30pm. We really enjoyed the beach, Alexis got stuck in the sand after being buried in it and we ate all together. The food took a while to come, but it was really good and the girls were really pretty. At 2:30pm we went back to the boat, some of us got to sail it and at night the coordinators joked with us saying we would go back home for that! Getting at the hotel we got even more free time and at 07:45om we started our meeting. We talked about our trip to Natal tomorrow and our lost&found. At lost & found Martin paid a dance and 10 reais for girl’s sunglasses. Abel paid 30 reais on bottle and then two other bottles were sold for 21 reais and he got really mad. Our jegue porreta was Ivone, because she brushed her teeth with Hipoglos and then couldn’t get it out, so she had to brush her teeth with soap. Our best “jegue porreta” up until now! Dinner was the same as yesterday and now our curfew is 01:30am because we always respect it. Ron is really mad because of that! Hahahaha Just kidding, he loves us!

Praia do Francês e Piscinas Naturais. / Francês Beach and Natural Pools

Oi

Hoje nós saímos do hotel a nove hora da manhã para ir na praia, que fica muito perto do hotel, então nós fomos a pé. A praia que se chama praia do francês. Foi muito legal pra tudo mundo, expecto para o Theo, que foi nadar com celular dele no bolso. Depois, nos pegamos o ônibus pra ir no centro de Maceió, na frente da praia, pra almoçar em um restaurante que foi bom demais.  Então tivemos uma hora pra explorar o mercado central da cidade. No fim da hora, nós fomos todos para um barco para ir em uma piscina natural que se situa no meio do mar. Foi muito bacana, e muito lindo. Voltamos pra hotel para arrumar e ir para o jantar. Nesse tempo, Joe e Florian tiveram a fantástica ideia de pintar os cabelos, Joe em vermelho, e Florian em loiro. Fizemos a reunião antes de ir jantar. A comida do restaurante estava muito boa, Mas o melhor momento da noite foi a dança de forro. Todo mundo dançou e adorou a noite. Claro que Theo foi escolhido a jegue porreta. A gente foi dormir uma hora da manhã, depois de um dia muito legal e cansativo.

Hi,
today we left the hotel at 9am to go to the beach, that's really close by so we walked there. The beach is called Francês (French) Beach. It was really nice for everyone, except for Theo that went swimming with his cellphone on his pocket. Later, we got on the bus to go downtown Maceio, in front of the beach, to have lunch in a restaurant that was really good. Then we had an hour to explore the city central market. At the end of the hour we went all together in boat to a natural pool that is located in the middle of the sea. It was really nice and beautiful. We went back to the hotel to get ready and go to dinner. In the mean time Joe and Florian hade the marvelous idea to dye their hairs, Joe dyed it read and Florian blond. We then made a meeting before dinner. The food on the restaurant was really good, but the best moment of the night was dancing forró. Everyone danced and enjoyed the night. Of course Theo was chosen "jegue porreta". We went to bed at 1am after a really fun and tiring day.
